As you celebrate the Christmas Season, Say a Little Prayer for the families that are missing their Loved ones during this time.

Twas the night before Christmas up in Fiddler’s Green
Things were quiet and there were No Cavalry Troopers to be seen
I asked the Lord “Where were all the Troopers” and he said to me
“A special request had been made and to this I agreed”
“A Trooper came up and on bended knees he said
”You know Lord we have not been with our families since coming
to Fiddler’s Green”
“We would like just one more night to hold them near
And whisper something special in their ear.”
“I gathered all of them around me and this is what I said”
“I grant you this evening to go to them while they are laying in bed.”
“Whisper in their ear and kiss their cheek”
“Give them what they long for and what it is you seek”
With this, each the Trooper mounted his steed
And flew through the night with Blessed speed
So loved ones when you wake up in the morning feeling warm and renewed
It’s because your Trooper came down, kissed your cheek, and said

Carol and I will continue to organize C Troop + reunions as long as we can and as long as there are Troopers/Troopettes and Gold Star Family members who want to attend.

We are Charlie Troop 1st Squadron 9th Cavalry Regiment. We are family. God has blessed us greatly by allowing we Troopers who have served together and/or in the same unit to reunite. Let us remember this.

More good news. For you that attended the last Gettysburg Reunion, we have the Josh Allen Band coming back one more time. Josh said he talked to his band members and they agreed to do it at the same price.

Brother Don Coshey received some news that his Throat cancer had come back. Being the Trooper he is, he is taking this head on. I am asking everyone to put Brother Don in their Prayer circle. Don wanted us to share in his pride of his Granddaughter Elizabeth Burner. Elizabeth just graduated from Basic Training and is now taking her Advanced training at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona where she will be trained in Military Intelligence.

****11/20/2018 Don called last night. Doctors went in and removed all traces of cancer they could find. They truly believe that they got it all. This is great news and I thank each of you who said a prayer for Don.

Elizabeth is the third on the right. Proud Grandpa.

Bob and Jeanette Fellin also have a new Grandson. Their Daughter, Kelly, son in law Jason and Grandson Owen went with “Finn Robert” Titus for his Baptism along with a Proud Grandpa and Grandma.

Recently Tiffany Hoffmann posted a picture of our “Little Brother” and her son, Rafer. Rafer is a member of the Marine JROTC at his High School.

Artie Sanders went to the doctor and they found out he has a tumor in his bladder. Artie had surgery and Artie is doing very well so far. The doctors believe they got it all. Let’s say a prayer it stays that way.

Born in Strife Brothers for Life

We Can We Will We Did and Thankfully We Still Do
God Bless,
Pat and Carol
