The reunion is now only three months away. Carol and I are working hard to get it completely put together before you all get there. We understand that there will not be as many Troopers and Troopettes as usual but that will not slow us down.  We still intend to make this a reunion to remember. As of now we have about 75-80 that will be in attendance. I will add a list of names at the end of this newsletter.

With the passing of Gordon Jones last month, we have now lost 9 Troopers or Troopettes since last Reunion. Our Troop is getting smaller every year. This is sad.

Our Little Brother, Rafer Springfield, earned his Eagle Scout Pin last month. This by itself is a great accomplishment. I am very proud of him and I know you all are also. As most of you know, Rafer was our very first “Little Brother” of Charlie Troop. He will be attending our reunion this year. Also attending will be our very first “Little Sisters” of Charlie Troop, Jolie and Delanie Brazier. Rafer is the son of Tiffaney Hoffmann and Jolie and Delanie are the grand daughters of Gordon and Susan Jones. The Jones family, Brazier family, Susan Jones and Miss Tiffaney Hoffman will also be attending this year’s reunion.

I am going to include a “probable” Itinerary and a list of those who have already paid to attend this year’s reunion at the end of this letter.

I had several other items I intended to add to this letter. However, with the loss of one of mine own family members and the death of Gordon Jones I did not have the time.

In closing this news letter I do want to include a short but eloquent speech giving at Gordon’s funeral by his youngest grand daughter, Ellie Brazier:
