2022 is now in the rearview mirror and 2023 lays ahead of us. Each of us will become a year older. Each of us will have new memories made. Some of us may experience rough times but that is what this family is for. We bond around each other giving the love and support that others need. If you are on Facebook and you see a post for someone’s birthday or anniversary, don’t just give a thumbs up. Take the few seconds and type in Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary. When you see a post on the death of one of our Brothers or Sisters, click on the emoji with tears and take the few seconds to type in: Rest in peace and prayers for the family.
Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will all be doing something special this year. Share your PRIDE in the newsletter. Send a photo and a story and I will place them in the newsletter for all to read

December saw the loss of three of our ’65 troopers go on to Fiddler’s Green. James (Jim) Reid, Darwin Heffner, and Rayburn (Gene) Smith. Carol always tells everyone at our reunions that she doesn’t want to see Troopers shaking hands and saying Good-by at the end of a reunion. She wants to see you giving your Brother a Hug. That this is the last time you see him. I talked to Gene a week before he passed away. After an hour, we said our Good-byes. I said Love ya, Brother. Gene said Love you and I’ll call you in a week. Last times are important.
God Bless you all.
