Leslie was assigned to Charlie Troop on June 9, 1966 and was Killed in Action on August 8, 1966. Leslie was a member of the Blue Platoon. He was an Infantryman. Leslie was awarded the Purple Heart, The Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB), the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
