LeLand was assigned to Charlie Troop on August 7, 1069 and was Killed in Action on May 10, 1970. LeLand was a Door Gunner on an OH-6A Light Observation Helicopter. LeLand was awarded Purple Heart, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a set of Crew Member Wings.

As you can see. I always ask for pictures of these Brave Men as they were growing up and with Family. I can tell the stories of their Military time. I also ask for stories whether they be funny or just what the Man was thinking. If his wife has a photo of him and her that would be great. If she wishes, I may also be able to find another soldier who served with him. I did not. I was there in 68-69. I want to honor these Brave Men but I need help.
