Although most of this blog is dedicated to “The Men and The Mission” of Charlie Troop, from time to time I write about other people, other times and just my beliefs.
This time I want to write about a Childhood Friend of mine who gave his all in Vietnam. When I first met Larry, he and his family lived in a small community called Oakwood Hills in Illinois. Larry was a fun-loving eager young man. This carried over into his, although short, adulthood. Larry was a Proud Marine. Below is his last letter home.

Mary, I may have some of the information on Larry’s wall wrong but my intentions were true. I had sent a photo to be added to Larry’s post on the Virtual Wall but evidently someone goofed. I am resending it now.
